Hi! I’m Moriah
Here’s some not-that important info about me:
I’m originally from New Hampshire and made it a point to get out of dodge as soon as I graduated high school. I made it all the way to Vermont and can’t see myself calling anywhere else home.
I love travelling and have made it a point to go somewhere new and scary every year. I’m very much a creature of habit and need to continually push myself to get uncomfortable sometimes, and I’m so much better for it.
Per the above, in my natural state I’m a total homebody. I enjoy reading murder mysteries, crocheting, or just binging Great British Bake-Off on the couch with my dog Zoey.
I’m a crazy dog mom and I will never shut up about how awesome my dog is. Here’s a picture just to get you ready for it. ISN’T SHE CUTE?!
I go through phases of being a morning person, but it never lasts long. I’ll switch back to being a night owl after bout two weeks of that nonsense.
I am in thorough denial that I’m lactose intolerant and will eat all the Cabot cheddar cheese I can get my hands on. Or any cheese really. My love of cheese is so well known that for my last birthday my friends made me a cheese cake made of hunks of cheddar cheese. It was glorious.
Photography has been a driving force in my life ever since I stole my mom’s film camera when I was 6. I studied photography along with Anthropology in college, but it wasn’t until I shot my sister’s wedding (while I was her Maid of Honor. Those were some heady days.) that I found my true calling.
Photographing weddings and people at a transition period in their lives is my passion - every single experience is unique, and yet it’s something we can all share and be apart of. A day that’s made for celebrating our bonds to one another always makes for some powerful images, and I live for it.
